Accurate, timely lab reports form the backbone of every diagnosis. Our in-house laboratory runs 24×7 with automated analysers, strict quality controls and qualified pathologists — serving both admitted patients and walk-in OPD testing at charitable rates.
Our central laboratory processes thousands of samples every day across biochemistry, haematology, microbiology, serology and clinical pathology — with fully automated analysers that minimise human error.
Every batch runs with internal quality controls, and our processes follow NABL quality standards. Reports are validated by qualified pathologists before release — because a wrong report can mean a wrong treatment.
For admitted patients, samples are collected at the bedside and critical results are phoned directly to the treating doctor. OPD patients can collect reports the same day for routine tests, or access them digitally.

No appointment is needed for routine tests — just walk in with your doctor\u2019s prescription during lab hours. The lab also runs 24×7 for emergency and inpatient testing. Only a few specialised tests need prior scheduling, which the counter will tell you.
Routine tests (CBC, sugar, LFT, KFT, urine) are reported the same day — often within a few hours. Cultures take 48–72 hours by nature of the test. Histopathology/biopsy reports typically take 3–5 working days. Your receipt mentions the expected report time.
Food directly changes blood sugar and lipid (cholesterol) values. Fasting 8–12 hours ensures your results reflect your true baseline. Plain water is allowed. If you accidentally ate, tell the staff — they will advise whether to proceed or reschedule.
Yes — as a charitable hospital our rates are significantly below private labs, and quality is not compromised: automated analysers, batch quality controls and pathologist validation on every report. patients get cashless testing as per entitlement.
