Not necessarily. Many orthopaedic problems improve with medication, physiotherapy, rest and lifestyle changes. Surgery is recommended only when these don\u2019t help, or for conditions that genuinely require it (like certain fractures or severe arthritis). Our surgeons advise surgery only when it truly benefits you.
Joint replacement is considered when arthritis or joint damage causes severe pain and limits daily activities, and when other treatments no longer help. Modern joint replacement is highly successful at relieving pain and restoring movement. Our surgeon evaluates whether you are a suitable candidate.
For a suspected fracture, avoid moving the injured part, immobilise it if possible, and come to our emergency immediately — or call our ambulance for serious injuries. Prompt, correct fracture treatment is important for proper healing.
Yes. Physiotherapy and rehabilitation support recovery after surgery and injury, and help manage chronic conditions like back pain and arthritis. Our team guides your rehabilitation for the best functional recovery.
As a charitable hospital, our rates including joint replacement are kept well below corporate hospitals. patients are covered per entitlement, with package pricing explained upfront and subsidy support for needy families.
